Dr. Kesha Crichlow is a physician who specializes in Internal Medicine with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as diverse experience practicing in both rural and urban healthcare systems. Before joining HMC, Dr. Crichlow practiced in New York, providing healthcare in communities with a focus on those facing healthcare shortages.

Originally from New York, Dr. Crichlow spent her childhood in Jamaica and Brooklyn. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and her Medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Fluent in Spanish, she completed her specialized training in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College/Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and also earned a Master’s in International Public Health from New York Medical College.

Elizabeth has a longstanding history of commitment and service to the Newton and Harvey County community. She previously worked at Via Christi Clinic in Newton as well as other area clinics prior to joining Health Ministries.

She began in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse earning her Associates Degree at Butler Community College. She worked at Wesley Medical Center as an RN prior to completing the Physician Assistant program at Wichita State University. She is board certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Dawn’s clinical background includes work in both urgent and acute care settings. Her professional interests lie in providing comprehensive family medicine.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Kansas as a Nurse Practitioner.

Cayla is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her medical career as a CNA in high school and, after obtaining her RN, worked with surgical and cardiac patients in a hospital setting.

Cayla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from Bethel College, completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at MidAmerica Nazarene University, and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Tiffany has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She began her journey in high school as a CNA, then through college she worked on the trauma/surgery floor at Wesley Medical, and after college she worked as a charge nurse at a local community mental health center. Her prior APRN experience includes working in a large federally qualified health center in Wichita, Kansas.

Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University. Tiffany received her post-masters in psychiatry from the University of New Hampshire and is board certified in family practice and psychiatric-mental health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Dr. Lanza studied medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating and completing his residency through USAF Scott Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Dr. Lanza practiced medicine both abroad and throughout the United States as a family physician and also as an ER physician. He has spent the last 14 years practicing as a family physician at Alyeska Family Medicine, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska.

“I believe that I was called to be a physician from a very early age. I was specifically drawn to family medicine because I would be able to take care of patients of all ages and build long lasting relationships. I look forward to practicing at HMC because it is an environment where I

Sarah Lindsey, PA-C, is a dedicated advocate for public health and healthcare equity. With a strong passion for improving our healthcare system, she has spent her career in various settings, including the Guadalupe Clinic, the Sedgwick County Health Department, and nursing homes. Sarah completed the Physician Assistant program at Wichita State University and is board certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is fluent in Spanish, enhancing her ability to communicate with a diverse patient population.

Jill earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree at Wichita State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Bethel College. She is board certified in pediatrics by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Dr. Luinstra is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Before joining Health Ministries, he was employed by Via Christi, Newton.

Dr. Luinstra completed his  Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His residency in Family Medicine was completed at St. Joseph Family Practice Residency program in Wichita, KS.

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Saint Mary of the Plains College in Wichita, Kansas and earned a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Wichita State University. She has worked in a variety of health care settings including surgery, hospital, clinics, urgent care, rural health, and specialty clinic settings. Laurie will be practicing primarily at the HMC Halstead location.

Diane Newth has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner after graduating from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Master of Science degree in 2004. Her experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner includes working in a Family Practice/Rural Health setting, Women’s Health Clinic, Urgent Care Clinic, as well as the Emergency Room. She is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Diane has had a wide variety of healthcare experiences including labor and delivery, surgical, cardiac rehabilitation, urology, as well as in the ER. As a Certified Diabetes Educator, she has a passion for educating and encouraging her patients who require chronic disease management.

Dr. Ricardo Patron is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He has cared for the children of Newton and the surrounding area since 1991 when he joined the original Bethel Clinic following the completion of his pediatric residency.  Dr. Patron joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously practicing with the Wichita Clinic and the Via Christi Clinic, both in Newton.

Dr. Patron earned a B.A. in Life Sciences at Kansas State University and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas.  He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

Lindsey has served as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in Newton and the surrounding communities for the last 7 years. Prior to being a Nurse Practitioner, she was a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery in Wichita for 6 years. She was also a CNA in the hospital and a long-term care facility in high school and nursing school.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College in Newton and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Frontier University in Kentucky. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Riley Roberts is a Newton, Kansas native and will be joining the HMC Pediatrics department. She attended the University of Kansas where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Genetics. Dr. Roberts then earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her Pediatrics Residency at Wake Forest in North Carolina. Dr. Roberts is thrilled to return to her hometown, reestablish roots, and be close to family.

“I was drawn to pediatrics because of the special journey we have the privilege to experience with our patients and their families as they grow from newborns to adults, providing thoughtful care, guidance, and advice during this time. HMC caught my eye because of the integrated healthcare model that allows everyone to receive the care they need, aiming to reduce as many barriers to care as possible. With each member of the HMC team I meet, I become more impressed with the kindness I’m met with. I cannot wait to join the team!

Bonnie earned her nursing license at the Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing, University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to earn her ARNP and Masters of Education at Wichita State University.

She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her internship at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  Her residency was completed at Quincy Family Medicine Residency.

Hays University in 2014.  Additionally, after spending 7 years as an APRN in a family practice setting, she continued her education to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Liberty University.  Lisa is Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and for Psychiatric Mental Health board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Mandy has been in the medical field for over 15 years. She began her medical career as a CNA at Larksfield Place Nursing Home in Wichita before joining the team on the Oncology Unit at Via-Christi St. Francis. Zogleman graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Newman University and started her career as an RN in the Trauma/Surgical ICU at St. Francis Hospital.

She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she has practiced in Neurology and Trauma.

Juli is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bethel College in North Newton, KS, and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Professionally she has experience working in a wide variety of services, from traditional behavioral health, to in-patient psychiatric, residential care and school social work.

At HMC, Juli provides behavioral health consultation to patients in a team-based approach with the medical providers. Her practice involves mainly cognitive-behavioral approaches to guide the patient in making behavioral changes to enhance their quality of life.

Kealey is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree with a minor in Psychology from Washburn University in 2019, then went on to earn her Master of Social Work Degree at Washburn University in 2020. With a passion for working in a medical setting with any population, she started working as an inpatient case manager and social worker in a hospital setting. Kealey has experience working in multiple units within the hospital including Telemetry, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Labor and Delivery.

Brittani is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kansas State University, and her Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville. Brittani has experience working alongside families, adults, and children in various case management, clinical, and supervisory roles.  Brittani has experience working in group homes and residential treatment facilities, traditional psychotherapy, inpatient behavioral health hospitalization, and in community mental health.

Dr. Peeling earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at SUNY Purchase, in Purchase, New York and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of South Dakota and also completed an additional fellowship in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of South Dakota.

Shonda Ratzloff is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS. She has experience in education and the mental health field working with children, groups, and individuals. At HMC, Shonda focuses on providing consultation and intervention focused on assisting individuals with behavioral change to benefit their overall health.

Dr. Gerald Vinduska attended Wichita State University for his undergraduate work, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Univerisity of Nebraska- College of Dentistry in 1997. After graduation, he practiced rural family dentistry solo in Marion for 19 years ,taking over his father’s dental practice (Dr. Eugene Vinduska) in 1999. Dr. Jerry greatly appreciates the opportunity to provide dental disease treatment to his patients at such affordable fees.

Jennifer joins HMC as our full-time Outreach Dental Hygienist. She earned her degree from Wichita State University in 2019. With a genuine commitment to patient well-being, she takes pride in fostering meaningful connections and empowering individuals through education on oral hygiene practices.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Jennifer delights in her role as the cherished “cool aunt” to her niece and nephew. She is an avid food enthusiast, traveler, and an enthusiastic supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jenifer worked in private practice as a registered dental hygienist for several years before transitioning to community health nearly four years ago. She graduated from Colby Community College/North Central Technical College in 2005.

Jenifer enjoys working for Health Ministries Clinic because she feels it is a great service to the communities the clinic serves that are able to receive dental care. In addition to her work in the clinic Jenifer also serves as coordinator for the school based dental screening program.

“I also enjoy the variety, being able to go to schools and teach children that might not otherwise have dental care.”

Katelyn is a 2016 graduate from Wichita State University where she recieved a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She received her ECP II certifications when she joined the Health Ministries Dental Clinic team in August 2019.

Earning her ECP II certification allows Katelyn to see patients in nursing homes and schools. Katelyn spends most of her time at HMC as part of their outreach program and is occasionally at the dental clinic when needed.

“My goal for HMC is to create an integrated care system between dental and medical as well as grow the school outreach programs. My passion is working with children and watching them learn. I believe by providing oral health education to children, and their families, we are positively impacting their life long oral health and overall health.”

Tara graduated from Wichita State University in 1997 with degrees in Dental Hygiene and Health Sciences. In 2015, she then obtained her Kansas dental hygiene extended care permit level II which allows her to provide services in schools and nursing homes. Tara recently graduated with a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2022. She has worked in a variety of dental settings throughout her career, including private practice, contract hygienist for the US armed forces in Germany, and mobile dentistry in long-term care facilities.

“I love working in community health because it is a constantly changing and incredibly rewarding field of healthcare. I want to continue to expand the dental outreach program at HMC by working to improve the oral health of the underserved in our community through HMC’s integrated care model. The best part of working in outreach is that you get to be creative and innovative while enhancing the lives of others.”

Mark began his pre-pharmacy classes at Wichita State University and finished up at the University of Kansas, where he also completed his RPh Degree.  Mark has been a pharmacist for 32 years, including the last 27 years in Newton.

Mark’s clinical expertise and experience is a huge asset for both our prescribers and our patients.

Megan pursued her pre-pharmacy coursework at Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in December 2014. Megan also completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Studies in May 2017 from The University of Kansas. She continued her education at The University of Kansas and obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy in May of 2019.

Marsha was born and raised in rural Kansas and has a variety of experiences working in rural communities including corporate pharmacy, independent pharmacy, and long-term care.

A licensed specialist clinical social worker, Matthew has 19 years experience working in the behavioral health care field, including more than 10 years as Director of Community Support Services and Access/Emergency Services at a local community mental health center. He has served on numerous statewide committees and taskforces and is active in the community.

Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., and his master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, Lawrence, Kan.

As the Chief Operating Officer, Tionna is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and general management of HMC’s operations at our three locations. Tionna leads employees in advancing the company’s mission, vision, core values, strategic priorities and growth goals. She assists in identifying organizational needs, and plays a pivotal role in facilitating resources to develop solutions to solve HMC’s most complex challenges. She partners with the Executive and Leadership Team’s to identify the unmet needs of the patients that HMC is uniquely positioned to serve.

Alyssa is a proud Newton native whose journey intertwines the realms of healthcare and law. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, where her passion for patient care took root. With a background predominantly in emergency nursing and peri-anesthesia care, Alyssa has been instrumental in ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical medical moments.

Alyssa continued her education at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Law, where she earned her Master of Legal Studies with an emphasis in Healthcare Law. This educational background helps Alyssa to navigate the complex intersection of healthcare policies, regulations, and patient advocacy.

Amanda was born and raised in the Harvey County area. She continues to reside locally and raises her family within the Harvey County community. She joined HMC as a Dental Assistant in 2020 and went on to transition into her current role as HMC Halstead Office Manager.

Brody is a lifelong resident of Harvey County, Kansas and joined Health Ministries in 2021. He brings with him over 16 years of public safety experience, across several disciplines. At HMC Brody is responsible for workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, Tonya has worked in nursing since 1989. Beginning in 1990, she worked at McPherson Hospital, most recently serving as the Director of the Intensive Care Unit and the Medical-Surgical Unit.

In 2020, Tonya joined Health Ministries to lead the nursing department. Her passion is to sew value into her staff, which in turn allows the staff to value each and every patient, and each other. She enjoys process improvement and is always looking for ways to improve and develop a new standard of care.

Samantha is responsible for supervising the Departments that are directly related to Patient Services. Samantha came to Health Ministries in 2019 bringing over 15 years of management and supervision experience.

Samantha graduated from Friends University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Leadership and a master’s degree in Business Administration. Samantha was born and raised in Newton and is proud to raise her family in this community.

Monica completed her undergraduate at Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana, in Business Administration. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Employment Law from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Monica joined HMC with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, as well as HR Certifications of ‘Senior Professional in Human Resources’ from the HR Certification Institute and ‘Senior Certified Professional’ from the Society of Human Resource Management.

Esme was born and raised in Newton, Kansas. She is proud to continue to be a part of the Newton community. Esme joined HMC in 2018 as a Patient Services Representative and Dental Biller. She later transitioned to her current role as HMC Dental Clinic Manger. She is passionate about growing and improving the HMC Dental team to provide the best experience and care for HMC patients.
