NELLY COOPER

Nerlyn “Nelly” Cooper is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career over 20 years ago as a certified nurse assistant. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University and later completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice also at WSU.
Nerlyn’s professional background includes experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. She has managed an Endocrinology Clinic and has practiced as a clinician in acute care and endocrinology. With a passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes, she has dedicated her career to serving diverse and underserved populations, particularly in community health settings.
