Dara Derringer

APRN, FNP-C

Dara is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her healthcare career as a CNA after high school and earned her RN from Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dara’s introduction to healthcare began with filing charts at her local Family Medicine practice. As a CNA, she gained experience in long-term care before transitioning to the Emergency Room, where she continued working after becoming an RN. Her career expanded to include flight nursing and urgent care before she transitioned into family practice and walk-in care as a nurse practitioner.
