Sarah Lindsey

Sarah Lindsey, PA-C, is a dedicated advocate for public health and healthcare equity. With a strong passion for improving our healthcare system, she has spent her career in various settings, including the Guadalupe Clinic, the Sedgwick County Health Department, and nursing homes. Sarah completed the Physician Assistant program at Wichita State University and is board certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is fluent in Spanish, enhancing her ability to communicate with a diverse patient population.

“I am thankful to be a part of an organization that provides care for the whole person, including mental health, as this is one area I feel is the most inaccessible for the uninsured and underinsured. Cayla Hiebert

Cayla is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her medical career as a CNA in high school and, after obtaining her RN, worked with surgical and cardiac patients in a hospital setting.

Cayla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from Bethel College, completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at MidAmerica Nazarene University, and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Jennifer Wagner

Jennifer is a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with a clinical background primarily comprised of orthopedics, wound care, and plastic surgery. She received her associate degree in nursing from Hesston College in 2009. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tabor College, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Laurie Methvin

Laurie is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Saint Mary of the Plains College in Wichita, Kansas and earned a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Wichita State University. She has worked in a variety of health care settings including surgery, hospital, clinics, urgent care, rural health, and specialty clinic settings. Laurie will be practicing primarily at the HMC Halstead location.

“I am very excited to begin practicing with HMC and appreciate all the healthcare services that are available to our patients. In addition, Halstead is a wonderful setting and I look forward to building relationships in that community.”

Lindsey Regier

Lindsey has served as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in Newton and the surrounding communities for the last 7 years. Prior to being a Nurse Practitioner, she was a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery in Wichita for 6 years. She was also a CNA in the hospital and a long-term care facility in high school and nursing school.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College in Newton and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Frontier University in Kentucky. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Diane Newth

Diane Newth has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner after graduating from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Master of Science degree in 2004. Her experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner includes working in a Family Practice/Rural Health setting, Women’s Health Clinic, Urgent Care Clinic, as well as the Emergency Room. She is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Diane has had a wide variety of healthcare experiences including labor and delivery, surgical, cardiac rehabilitation, urology, as well as in the ER. As a Certified Diabetes Educator, she has a passion for educating and encouraging her patients who require chronic disease management.

Mandy Zogleman

Mandy has been in the medical field for over 15 years. She began her medical career as a CNA at Larksfield Place Nursing Home in Wichita before joining the team on the Oncology Unit at Via-Christi St. Francis. Zogleman graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Newman University and started her career as an RN in the Trauma/Surgical ICU at St. Francis Hospital.

She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she has practiced in Neurology and Trauma.

“I have always enjoyed the puzzle of medicine. Unfortunately, sometimes solving that puzzle can be inaccessible and unaffordable. I chose Health Ministries because the care and resources they offer focus on the whole person without discrimination of socioeconomic or financial status. I am very honored to be working in the Halstead Clinic, serving the needs of the community”.

Lisa Wiebe

Lisa has a blended practice that incorporates both Family Practice and Psychiatric care.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kansas Wesleyan in 2007 and her Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Ft. Hays University in 2014.  Additionally, after spending 7 years as an APRN in a family practice setting, she continued her education to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Liberty University.  Lisa is Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and for Psychiatric Mental Health board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Elizabeth Claassen

Elizabeth has a longstanding history of commitment and service to the Newton and Harvey County community. She previously worked at Via Christi Clinic in Newton as well as other area clinics prior to joining Health Ministries.

She began in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse earning her Associates Degree at Butler Community College. She worked at Wesley Medical Center as an RN prior to completing the Physician Assistant program at Wichita State University. She is board certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

I treasure the faith-based focus of medicine and seek to provide excellent medical care with an emphasis on the physical, psychological, and spiritual/emotional needs of each individual. Jana Nisly

Dr. Nisly graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency with UKSM-Wesley Family Medicine. She later worked at United Methodist Urban Ministries (GraceMed) in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Nisly then went on to establish and serve at a clinic in rural El Salvador for 28 years. This clinic specialized in serving the rural poor citizens following a civil war which transitioned into common crime and then into gang warfare.

Mario Lanza

Dr. Lanza studied medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating and completing his residency through USAF Scott Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Dr. Lanza practiced medicine both abroad and throughout the United States as a family physician and also as an ER physician. He has spent the last 14 years practicing as a family physician at Alyeska Family Medicine, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska.

“I believe that I was called to be a physician from a very early age. I was specifically drawn to family medicine because I would be able to take care of patients of all ages and build long lasting relationships. I look forward to practicing at HMC because it is an environment where I
can take care of the whole person, body, mind and spirit.”

Dawn Fair

Dawn’s clinical background includes work in both urgent and acute care settings. Her professional interests lie in providing comprehensive family medicine.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Kansas as a Nurse Practitioner.

“I feel connected with the heart of family practice and primary care.  I value being able to establish a relationship with my patients and provide continuity of care.  In addition, I feel privileged to be a part of the Health Ministries Clinic family and work in a setting that aligns with my faith and my passion.”

Ricardo Patron

Dr. Ricardo Patron is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He has cared for the children of Newton and the surrounding area since 1991 when he joined the original Bethel Clinic following the completion of his pediatric residency.  Dr. Patron joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously practicing with the Wichita Clinic and the Via Christi Clinic, both in Newton.

Dr. Patron earned a B.A. in Life Sciences at Kansas State University and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas.  He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

Angel Teck

Dr. Teck joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by Via Christi Clinic in Newton. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Teck earned his Bachelor of general studies with an emphasis in chemistry from Wichita State University and his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.  He is also fluent in Spanish.

“I feel privileged by patients entrusting me with their health concerns.  The ability of a community to prosper and grow is interconnected to the health of its citizenry. With that in mind, I strongly believe everyone should have access to basic healthcare services. Often, I am surprised by the human body’s resilience to disease and ability to recover from illness. My role as a healthcare provider is identifying opportunities to preserve, maintain and improve patient’s health.”

Bonnie Tandoc

Bonnie has a long history in this community and joins the Heath Ministries Clinic after previously being employed at Via Christi Clinic, Newton. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Bonnie earned her nursing license at the Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing, University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to earn her ARNP and Masters of Education at Wichita State University.

Ashley Weis

Ashley Weis is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by the Via Christi Clinic in Newton.

Dr. Weis received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology through Pittsburg State University and her Master of Business administration in healthcare leadership at Rockhurst University. She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her internship at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  Her residency was completed at Quincy Family Medicine Residency.

“The origin of the word “doctor” is the Latin word “docere” which means “to teach.” That’s how I view my job. I am here to teach you about your options in regards to your health and then we can make decisions as a team to lead you to the health that you want.”

Michael Williams

Dr. Williams joined Health Ministries Clinic following his employment at the Via Christi Clinic, Newton. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science, biology and chemistry, at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and his Medical Doctor degree at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. His residency in family practice was also completed at the Kansas University Medical Center.

“The part of medicine I enjoy the most is the relationships I develop with my patients.  Family medicine is unique in this way, allowing for ongoing relationships with all members of the family, from newborns to great grandparents.  These relationships enhance and improve my ability to help each individual navigate the often complex healthcare concerns for which they come seeking solutions.”

Kesha Crichlow

Dr. Kesha Crichlow is a physician who specializes in Internal Medicine with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as diverse experience practicing in both rural and urban healthcare systems. Before joining HMC, Dr. Crichlow practiced in New York, providing healthcare in communities with a focus on those facing healthcare shortages.

Originally from New York, Dr. Crichlow spent her childhood in Jamaica and Brooklyn. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and her Medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Fluent in Spanish, she completed her specialized training in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College/Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and also earned a Master’s in International Public Health from New York Medical College.

Jill Litwiller

Jill has been a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 20 years. She joined Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by Via Christi Clinic-Newton.

Jill earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree at Wichita State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Bethel College. She is board certified in pediatrics by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

“I am happy to be providing care to the children and families in Newton, where I grew up and am raising my own daughters.  I am privileged to watch my patients grow in so many ways, and later become empowered to make healthy choices on their own.  I love pediatrics because of the fun and creative ways we can connect with our patients, both in the office and in the community.”

Joseph Luinstra

Dr. Luinstra is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Before joining Health Ministries, he was employed by Via Christi, Newton.

Dr. Luinstra completed his  Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His residency in Family Medicine was completed at St. Joseph Family Practice Residency program in Wichita, KS.

“My faith is central to how I try and live my life.  A favorite verse of mine is Jeremiah 29:11; ‘For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.’”

Lynne Fruechting

Following several years of serving as a volunteer, Dr. Fruechting has been on staff as a pediatrician at Health Ministries since July 2006. She is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

“I have a deep love for children. I appreciate having an opportunity to work in a setting that allows me to live out my faith in a practical and helpful way.”

Tiffany Koehn

Tiffany has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She began her journey in high school as a CNA, then through college she worked on the trauma/surgery floor at Wesley Medical, and after college she worked as a charge nurse at a local community mental health center. Her prior APRN experience includes working in a large federally qualified health center in Wichita, Kansas.

Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University. Tiffany received her post-masters in psychiatry from the University of New Hampshire and is board certified in family practice and psychiatric-mental health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
