Kealey is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree with a minor in Psychology from Washburn University in 2019, then went on to earn her Master of Social Work Degree at Washburn University in 2020. With a passion for working in a medical setting with any population, she started working as an inpatient case manager and social worker in a hospital setting. Kealey has experience working in multiple units within the hospital including Telemetry, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Labor and Delivery.

Sydney is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She completed her Bachelors and Masters degree in social work at Wichita State University and has experience working in child welfare, behavioral health in primary care, inpatient behavioral health, and skilled nursing/rehab.

“Behavioral health in primary care has been my passion since gaining experience in my Masters program. The integrated care model makes sense serving patients as a whole and allowing access for vulnerable populations. Giving individuals the option to know we have behavioral health services at HMC gives them the opportunity to treat their overall health and well-being.”

Brittani is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kansas State University, and her Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville. Brittani has experience working alongside families, adults, and children in various case management, clinical, and supervisory roles.  Brittani has experience working in group homes and residential treatment facilities, traditional psychotherapy, inpatient behavioral health hospitalization, and in community mental health.

By exploring the connection between mind and body and providing multiple levels of support to remove the barriers that may prevent a person from accessing services, it allows HMC to offer the best treatment options to the individuals we work with.”

Shannon is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW.) She attended Fort Hays State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in social work. She then attended the University of Kansas and received a Master of Social Work degree. Shannon has varied social work experience serving individuals in long term care, hospice, and both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings.

Juli is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bethel College in North Newton, KS, and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Professionally she has experience working in a wide variety of services, from traditional behavioral health, to in-patient psychiatric, residential care and school social work.

At HMC, Juli provides behavioral health consultation to patients in a team-based approach with the medical providers. Her practice involves mainly cognitive-behavioral approaches to guide the patient in making behavioral changes to enhance their quality of life.

Uyen’s clinical experience includes work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.

Uyen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita State University, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree at Wichita State University. Uyen is Board Certified by the ANCC as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Uyen appreciates the opportunity to work in an integrated practice setting. “Health Ministries allows for a holistic approach to care. I truly believed that is how health care should be”.

Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Newman University, Wichita, Kansas, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Professionally she has experience working with both pediatric and adult patients in inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment units.

She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and licensed in the state of Kansas as a Nurse Practitioner.

“As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my role allows me to intervene with vulnerable populations promoting mental health across the lifespan. I believe in treating the whole person, and with the integrated health care we offer at Health Ministries, I am able to serve my patients in a holistic manner, creating the best outcomes and promoting overall health and well-being.”

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Fort Hays State University. Professionally she has worked within a variety of medical settings, including both inpatient and outpatient. Her professional interests lie in providing comprehensive family medicine.

She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Kansas and California as a Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Yasa specializes in psychiatry focused on children and adolescents. He earned his medical degree internationally. His adult psychiatry residency was completed at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed a child and adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Yasa also earned a Master of Public Health (Community Medicine) Degree from the St. Louis University School of Public Health.
