Following several years of serving as a volunteer, Dr. Fruechting has been on staff as a pediatrician at Health Ministries since July 2006. She is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Prior to joining the Health Ministries Clinic, Dr. Goering was employed by Via Christi Clinic and Wichita Clinic in Newton, Kansas. Dr. Goering is board certified in family medicine and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
Dr. Goering completed his Bachelor in Arts in mathematics and chemistry at Bethel College and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His residency in family practice was completed at St. Joseph Family Practice Residency.

Tiffany has been in the healthcare field for 15 years, beginning in high school as a CNA, continuing through college at Wesley Medical Center on the trauma/surgery floor, and after college at a local community mental health center as a charge nurse. Her prior APRN experience includes working in a large federally qualified health center in Wichita, Kan.
Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wichita (Kan.) State University. She is board certified in family practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Jill has been a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 20 years. She joined Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by Via Christi Clinic-Newton.
Jill earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree at Wichita State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Bethel College. She is board certified in pediatrics by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Joseph Luinstra is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Before joining the Health Ministries Clinic, Joe was employed at Via Christi Clinic, Newton. He is a Fellow, American Academy of Family Physicians member.
Dr. Luinstra completed an internship at the St. Joseph Medical Center after earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at the University of Kansas where he also completed his residency.

Dr. Nedich joined Health Ministries Clinic in January of 2015. Prior to that he was employed at Integrity Medicine, LLC, Newton, and the Medical Plaza in Hillsboro. Dr. Nedich is board certified in internal medicine and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
Dr. Nedich completed his bachelor of science degree in biology at Avila University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. His internal medicine residency was completed at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

Dr. Ricardo Patron is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has cared for the children of Newton and the surrounding area since 1991 when he joined the original Bethel Clinic following the completion of his pediatric residency. Dr. Patron joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously practicing with the Wichita Clinic and the Via Christi Clinic, both in Newton.
Dr. Patron earned a B.A. in Life Sciences at Kansas State University and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

Bonnie has a long history in this community and joins the Heath Ministries Clinic after previously being employed at Via Christi Clinic, Newton. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Bonnie earned her nursing license at the Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing, University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to earn her ARNP and Masters of Education at Wichita State University.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Fort Hays State University. Professionally she has worked within a variety of medical settings, including both inpatient and outpatient. Her professional interests lie in providing comprehensive family medicine.
She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Kansas and California as a Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Teck joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by Via Christi Clinic in Newton. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Teck earned his Bachelor of general studies with an emphasis in chemistry from Wichita State University and his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Kris’ clinical background includes work as a charge nurse on a Trauma Critical Care unit as well as a staff nurse in an Emergency Room setting. Her professional interests lie in providing comprehensive family medicine.

Ashley Weis is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She joins Health Ministries Clinic after previously being employed by the Via Christi Clinic in Newton.
Dr. Weis received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology through Pittsburg State University and her Master of Business administration in healthcare leadership at Rockhurst University. She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her internship at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Quincy Family Medicine Residency.

Timothy Wiens is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He joined Health Ministries Clinic after being employed at Via Christi Clinic, Newton. Dr. Wiens was instrumental in the founding of Health Ministries Clinic in 1991.
Dr. Wiens earned his Bachelor of Science at Bethel College, North Newton. He then went on to obtain his Medical Doctor degree at the Kansas University School of Medicine. His family practice residency was completed at Wesley Family Practice Center.

Dr. Williams joined Health Ministries Clinic following his employment at the Via Christi Clinic, Newton. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science, biology and chemistry, at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and his Medical Doctor degree at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. His residency in family practice was also completed at the Kansas University Medical Center.

Diana’s clinical background involves not only more traditional behavioral health services, but also experience using mediation skills to facilitate working relationships with others. At HMC, Diana serves as a member of our integrated medical and dental services team and seeks to bring a behavioral health perspective to our patient interactions.
Diana earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bethel College in Newton, Kansas, and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. She is licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her mediation training from the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (KIPCOR) and is a Kansas approved core and domestic mediator.

Karla’s experience involves working with a wide and diverse range of children and adults in community mental health. Karla practices primarily from a behavioral approach and believes it is through behavior interventions that people change and improve overall quality of health and life.
At HMC, Karla serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services and provides behavioral health consultation to patients as well as providers. She earned a BSW degree from Kansas State University and a Master of Social Work degree from University of Kansas. In addition, Karla received training and certification in Integrated Behavioral Health and Primary Care from University of Michigan.

Dr. Yasa specializes in psychiatry focused on children and adolescents. He earned his medical degree internationally. His adult psychiatry residency was completed at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed a child and adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. In addition Dr. Yasa also earned a Master of Public Health (Community Medicine) degree from the St. Louis University School of Public Health.
Dr. Yasa is employed at Prairie View, a local Community Mental Health Center and contracts for two days a week at Health Ministries Clinic. This work builds on a unique and collaborative relationship between Health Ministries Clinic and Prairie View designed to more effectively serve the community.

Jenifer worked in private practice as a registered dental hygienist for several years before transitioning to community health nearly four years ago. She graduated from Colby Community College/North Central Technical College in 2005.
Jenifer enjoys working for Health Ministries Clinic because she feels it is a great service to the communities the clinic serves that are able to receive dental care. In addition to her work in the clinic Jenifer also serves as coordinator for the school based dental screening program.

Tina worked as a dental assistant in private practice for 13 years prior to transitioning to dental hygiene. Since then, Tina has worked as a hygienist in private practice as well as community health for six years. She graduated from Wichita State University with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Tina has also received her Extended Care Permit II, which allows her to treat patients in schools and nursing homes.
Tina enjoys working for Health Ministries Clinic because it’s a friendly environment that puts the patients’ needs first.

Dr. Gerald Vinduska attended Wichita State University for his undergraduate work, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Univerisity of Nebraska- College of Dentistry in 1997. After graduation, he practiced rural family dentistry solo in Marion for 19 years ,taking over his father’s dental practice (Dr. Eugene Vinduska) in 1999. Dr. Jerry greatly appreciates the opportunity to provide dental disease treatment to his patients at such affordable fees.

His undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in accounting and math was earned at Emporia (Kan.) State University. His Master of Management Information Systems degree was earned at Friends University, Wichita, Kan.
Prior to his work at Health Ministries, he served as vice president of business and finance at a local community mental health center, and chief financial officer for several area hospitals.
Dan is a member of the Kansas Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, National Association of Accountants and Kansas Association of Clinic Managers.
LSCSW, Executive Director
A licensed specialist clinical social worker, Matthew has 19 years experience working in the behavioral health care field, including more than 10 years as Director of Community Support Services and Access/Emergency Services at a local community mental health center. He has served on numerous statewide committees and taskforces and is active in the community.
Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., and his master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, Lawrence, Kan.
